God Is Watching Us.

Topic: God Is Watching Us.
Text: Proverbs 5: 21

For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and He examines all your paths. Amen

It is true that our ways are not His ways neither our thoughts, His thoughts; yet He is familiar with our ways. HE KNOWS IT ALL.

For the mere fact that He is Omnipresent and Omniscient. Also because He is the Creator and the Ancient of Days. He has been around and everywhere for a long long time. Jehovah knows too well all our tricks, deeds and excuses.

Man tries hard to be good as often as He can but occasionally, he does the wrong just to satisfy a selfish desire. In doing wrong, he employs a scheme or ploy that should work to his advantage without raising attention. Sometimes he does so alone, other times, with bad company.

He and his bad company may nurture a negative desire each time they relate till it becomes an obsession. Then they device a strategy to satisfy their cravings at all cost. They plan in darkness, execute in darkness, enjoy in darkness, clean their hands and mouth like nothing has happened. As far as they are concerned, everything they have done is covered up in the dark.

Well it is true, darkness conceals many things from mortals. The only missing detail of their perfect plan is what to do with and about that One God who sees through darkness just as clear as He does in light. David said, “If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.” (Psalm 139: 11- 12).

Beloved, all our ways are in the full view of the Lord like CCTV. He sees all the good you do unnoticed. All the kindness to put smiles on sad faces. He sees your effort to be the best you can be in your field of endeavor. He sees your pain and worries about tomorrow. He sees all the evil pent up in your heart and mind. He sees everything.

Therefore let us not be deceived, as for God, He’s not mocked. What we sow, is what we reap. Meditate on this word and begin to pray. Put your integrity on, the Lord is examining our ways to see if there’s One who fears Him and keeps His commandment so that He can show kindness to. He is watching us from a distance.
