Topic: God Gives You Wealth
Text: 1 Tim 6: 6, 9-11
But godliness with contentment is great gain. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many grieves. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. AMEN
The love for money remains one of the vices that contend with our faith. Money as a commodity is good, but the love for it has led a lot of honourable men into dis-speakable situations.
Work as hard as you can, save enough for tomorrow, strive for good in all that you do, strive to gain more than a few. However be content with what God gives you every day, knowing that He gives and adds no sorrows to it.
Don’t compare yourself with others and worry about your life. God surely knows how to take care of His own as He does take good care of you. His blessings over our lives go beyond money. He gives roof over the head, shoes for the feet, bread for food, good health, grace for our sins and shortcomings, people that love and care, peace, joy and HIMSELF for a gift. Now that is blessings!
Open your heart therefore to receive His provision for your life today. For He adds more of His abundance to us each day so we continually grow from glory to glory into becoming like Him.
As the Lord blesses your life with material and financial wealth, you must do well to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness so your blessings remain rooted in Christ. Pray Now!
