Topic: You’ll Come Through Once Again!
Text: Isaiah 42: 9
9 See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you. Amen.
Gather all of God’s children and give them this great news. Especially those whose lives seem complicated before their very eyes. One minute they are so high on the mountain of JOY, the next minute they’re being dragged through the valley of sorrow. Tell it also to those who are too disappointed that things didn’t go the way had hoped or planned for. Those at the verge of giving up on God and life.
Tell them there’s so much hope in the Lord for the future. Tell them the Lord does not slack on His promises as some consider slackness. He has been working on their behalf all this while to bring newness where they are dry. He says in Isaiah 43: 19 ” behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” HALLELUYAH
You know, ” the Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving- kindness. 4 I will build you up again, and you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again you will take up your tambourines and go out to dance with the joyful. 5 Again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria; the farmers will plant them and enjoy their fruit.” (Jer 31: 3- 5)
Therefore, restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears. As for God, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak” ( Is 40: 29). He has never turned back on His promises.
So, let go of the past. Trust God for a better today and a glorious tomorrow. You will come through once again. This is not how your story is written in books of the Almighty. Begin to pray now, even as the dew of heaven refreshes your life with the sweet fragrance of the Lord.
