Topic: Both Horse And Driver Sinking Down For Good!
Text: Exodus 15: 1- 5

1 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord: “I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted. Both horse and driver He has hurled into the sea. 2 “The Lord is my strength and my Song; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

3 The Lord is a warrior, the Lord is His name. 4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea. 5 The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone. Amen

In the passage above, we read of the expression _”the horse and it’s driver”. In your life as a child of God, “drivers” from the passage may represent evil agents of the enemy who scheme against you, while “horses” could also represent the means they adopt to implement their strategy, just to destroy you._ Thank God that both the horse and it’s drivers are sinking so deep into the ocean, NEVER TO SURFACE AGAIN.

They thought they had you, but they have failed miserably. They got themselves trained to be excellent horse riders who specialise in pursuing God’s children moving away from slavery to the promise land. They also got themselves the best horses; those that are faster than usual, so that they could reach you before you reach the destination and return you to slavery. But your God is stronger and wouldn’t let that happen!

When they saw you walking on dry land through the Red Sea, they should have known that was the ALMIGHTY GOD ON YOUR SIDE. They should have stopped their pursuit and let you be. But they didn’t, they chose to honour Pharaoh’s command over the fear of God. So the same miraculous power that parted the red sea and saved Israel, released the waters and swallowed Pharaoh and his officials with ease.

Now they are sinking to the depths like a stone dropped in water. All their schemes, plans and evil intentions are sinking with them. Why don’t you join Moses, Miriam and all Israel in a resounding praise for our King? Sing a new song; the Lord is exalted. He is your strength whenever you are weak; your song when sad; and your peace when troubles roll.

Thank God for your life. Thank Him for your deliverance and salvation. Thank Him that both horse and driver have been hurled into the sea. Now banish all fear from your heart. If the great Pharaoh and his vast army could not stand the power of our God, then who can?

Bring your praise then, let another bring their adoration; and with one accord we shall sing “HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD”. Satan has lost every battle concerning your life even before he starts. You belong to Christ; He that is in you, is greater than those in the world.
