The Right Partnership! Text: Eccl 4:9-10

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Amen

We are created interdependent social beings. When we foster together, we have good return for our work. One can only achieve as much as they decide to. But in a team, each is encouraged to give their all and best. The outcome is always great.

No matter how wise, strong, intelligent and experienced you may be, you simply can’t do it all by yourself all the time. You need a helping hand: a shoulder to cry on, a stronger hand to pull you up, a firm person to rebuke you and bring you back on track, a warm hug, a soft voice to say – you shall be fine.

As you step into the day, open up for genuine colleagues, friends and mentors to partner you for greatness. Some have skills you don’t have, experience from years of practice and great social networking to make your divine assignment easier than it usually would have been.

We must however tread with godly caution. It is very important to be led by Spirit of God to trustworthy people assigned to partner us for greatness. Otherwise, we are likely to fall in wrong company and loose everything to “discouragers”, “fault-finders” and “boot-lickers”.

Pray for a discerning heart then. Ask for grace to know the right persons to partner with. Pray also, that you will be that wonderful person, someone else can look up to for partnership!
