Today’s Devotion Title: Your Savings Account Text: Daniel 6:10

But when Daniel learned that the law had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.

Day in day out, we miss out on the most important of all we need: PRAYER.

At the beebs of our alarm clocks, we set ourselves into motion without a sense of direction.

We forget that someone woke us up and we need to be thankful. We leave our homes without asking God to bless our going out and our coming in.

We are always on the run, doing soo much but achieving very little.

We have not purposed in our hearts to have a prayer savings account. We just have zero accounts and we never bother to even review our lives with God to see our prayer statements.

The bible says that Daniel prayed contineously. When Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den, the bible says and the mouths of the lions were shut. Daniel didn’t have to pray. He just did an instant withdrawal from his prayer savings account.

Draw near to God while you can before the days of trouble come. If your prayer account is empty, your withdrawal slip to solve a problem may bounce!

Make a prayer savings today into you future dreams and aspirations, things known and unknown to you. Just save. You may never know when you will need to do a withdrawal.
